Merry Christmas

Well here I am again trying to write a blog. I haven't been here for awhile as I have been busy with all things associated with the season. Hope all of you have found making your homemade cards as much fun as I have. I have been very lucky this year and had a couple of cricut cartridges given to me by my nephew. I have not posted any pictures or instructions as yet but they are coming in the New Year. So Merry Christmas for now and Happy New Year. I hope you will join me in the following months.

A very cold,windy snowy day here.Just the kind of day you want to snuggle up to a warm fire and a nice hot cup of tea. Today i made several cards and was very pleased with how nicely they looked. Each was was different and quite unique. I am very happy with what I have done so far and can honestly see myself keeping this craft as one of my favorites. Hope everyone has had a great day. Well another day has almost come to the end and I must say it has been a very unusual one. I made a couple of cards. In between making the cards I made a home made chicken stew and a loaf of home made bread. It will really taste good tonight because today has been one of those very cold,windy and sunny days we often get in Nov., we even had a few big snowflakes early this morning. I truely hope your day has been a great one and that you managed to do something for yourself to bring you a little joy. Too often as mothers and wives we don't have time for us but I think it's important to do that everyday.It not only makes you feel better but also the people around you. Hello, Welcome back!! Hope you are enjoying my blog and maybe even getting a few chuckles now and then. I have started making the all occasion cards and found myself struggling with ideas. I know you have to have an idea in your mind but for some reason today I'm finding myself blank. I guess I"ll just go to my papers and I'm sure some ideas will come. Today the weather is partly sunny,black clouds at times and very high winds. Typical fall day for this part of the country. Well guess that's all for now. Have a great day and may God bless!!

Hello Again, Welcome back. I hope where ever you are the weather is much nicer than here. Today is a very dreary wet,cold miserable day. It's the kind of a day where you wish you had a roaring fire in the fireplace,a large mug of hot chocolate and your craft room all organized and ready for your next project. Well I guess that's enough of my fantasy, time to get back to the real world. Unfortunately, we live in a very small house and my kitchen table has become my craft room and that is okay for now, but I have plans to someday have a beautiful large craft room that will be well organized. Oh well, we all need to have dreams .
Today I will be making some all occasion cards as I have been lucky enough to have an order for some. I have only made a couple of cards that were not for Christmas,one was a new born baby girl and the other one was for a friends birthday. I am excited about this project and can hardly wait to get started.

Hi There, Well I'm back again trying my hand at blogging. I had a very productive evening making more Christmas cards,plus I'm really excited because some new stamps came in the mail today and I have just opened them. I guess that means I'll be making more Christmas cards tonight (like I wasn't planning on doing just that anyway). I did manage to photograph all my cards last night but have not downloaded them yet to my computer. I will be doing that soon along with instructions on how I made them. creating cards

Hi There, I'm new to card making but have already become addicted to it. I have found so many wonderful places on the net to help me find great ideas.  I have purchased a Cricut Personal machine and I guess I don't have to tell you have fallen completely in love with it. I am already looking at saving the money to purchase the Cricut Expression which uses the larger cutting mats (12x24) . I have been making lots of Christmas cards and I'm so excited about making them. There are so many different cards to make that I'm afraid I'll end up making enough for the next two years. Well this was my first attempt at blogging and I hope no one finds it to boring. Please feel free to offer me any kind of advice on how to blog. Thanks again for reading my blog. Have a great day!!!
